World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrader Mod Upgrading
Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.
For instance, a weapon with the upgrade template that ends in % will take on an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).
The cost of upgrading an item increases as it reaches the item’s current level. The cost increases as the level of the item rises.
Components
Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets to give an additional stat boost or effect when they’re used. They can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can be placed in equipment with a slot for them; the item must have been at a minimum upgraded to blue level in order for the component to be used. In contrast to other mods components can only be used once and cannot be applied multiple times or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a specific type of upgrade component that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment, as well as some of the non-ascended back items. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.
An upgrade may include a suffix or prefix that alters the name of the item to which it is applied (for example ‘Canthan Armor Insignia” becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions using less upgrade crystals than they require to reach the same level with normal methods.
A boost upgrade can change the attack or defence attributes of the weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be made using the Portative Forging Station once the player completes the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear, or by purchasing them from the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals.
Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher tier version of an item will be revealed at the next reset. This gives players the opportunity to upgrade their gear, even in the event that they don’t know what will be improved after an update.
The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process may be expensive, and there is a high chance that the item could become obsolete or even break when it fails. A unsuccessful upgrade could ruin Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item upgrading. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items that can double or even eliminate possibility of failure, as well as some upgrades that provide an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are upgrade components that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs increase the power of all nodes within their radius, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as you can to level 15.
It is commonplace to see in the final game that placing Glyphs is a great method to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and offer a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes more quickly.
Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and put back in place without restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.
Each Glyph has a particular range of values that it can improve a statistic by. The value is shown when you select the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with a different Glyph of the same rank or a higher rank, which will increase the overall value of the Glyph.
Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the various Glyphs, and there are also a few rare Glyphs that can be obtained as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.
Once you have the desired Glyphs You will need to place them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Based on the Glyph, this will either be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.
Glyphs will boost all nodes that are connected to them, therefore it is best to place Glyphs in strategic locations on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For example that a Druid should aim to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes, but also be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes, too.
Leveling
The system of upgrading items lets players increase the stats of specific items by putting upgraded components in them. This is referred to as “upping”. Each upgradeable item level upgrade is assigned an amount that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each item level requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.
Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or bought from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level up the item. Once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.
When a player upgrades the equipment they have the original item is replaced by the new item. The same armor will receive the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item comes with its own bonus. This can be a disadvantage in that it could cause the item to become more expensive if you do not need it.
The upgrades to items can be rerolled, if the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do so. The item will be replaced by a brand new one that has a base of level 1 and totally different bonuses. This can be beneficial, but should not be repeated often since it could waste resources.
Certain upgrades can be rerolled several times to increase their value, allows the player to modify their gear. Dolphin’s Gift is a good example, as it gives a buff if the player continuously enters or leaves the water. It can be upgraded multiple times, each time increasing the max roll by a factor of 10. This item is highly useful in PvP. A perfectly rolled version could be worth 50 times the value of a unupgraded counterpart.
Requirements
The upgrade of items allows players to boost the level of their equippable equipment – weapons, armor, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate items and currency to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase its base defense and upgrades to weapon items increase their base damage as well as their strength and dexterity.
All items can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear, which can have eight upgrades. Every time you upgrade an item it has an opportunity to fail. The failure rate increases the more you exceed the maximum number of upgrades. Failures will cause the item to go to its initial condition, which requires the user to spend more materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the maximum amount of upgrades.
If an item is not upgraded the experience bar on its growth bar will be reset to zero. In addition the item will lose any bonus it earned, including crit chance and attack damage, and all other effects that are associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or the speed of reloading). However, the user can continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.
When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that, if a weapon gains an increase in the chance of crit the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the item’s definition and the value is computed each time an upgrade is applied.
The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item upgrader mod is determined by its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost for upgrading non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade. For example, a common equipment item could have five upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will come with a much lower cost for each upgrade.
Premium items may have different upgrade requirements from regular gear. For instance they might require less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. The player will need to bring every piece of equipment they want to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade to equipment requires different amounts of ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the expenses that are listed above.
